Monday People: New Martinez Deputy

• Jessica Garcia is replacing Melissa Shuffield as Sen. Mel Martinez's Deputy Press Secretary (Shuffield departed to become #2 in John McCain's press shop). Duties will include Hispanic media. Garcia was previously press officer at the Agency for International Development in the State Department, special assistant to U.S. Treasurer Anna Escobedo Cabral, and at the RNC.
